About Us

The Albert Bridge School is a small, rural, K-6th grade elementary school located at the base of Mt. Ascutney in Brownsville, Vermont. The school and community are committed to place-based and outdoor learning as well as honoring, encouraging, and celebrating the excellence, diversity, and aspirations of each learner through creative and motivating challenges.

Our curriculum is grounded in best practices in multi-age and universal design for learning to support all students.

Along with traditional academic courses, Art, Music, Guidance and Physical Education are integrated into a student’s day. Volunteers bring “hands-on” science lessons through Vermont Institute of Natural Science (VINS).
